First Baptist Church of Hattiesburg has been a symbol of religious growth in the Baptist community since its inception in 1884. The church’s most recent plans for expansion began with the purchase a 40-acre sanctuary of nature and tranquility on Lincoln Road. Albert & Associates proposed a master plan that responds to the serenity of the site and can be easily phased for cost effectiveness. The site design includes covered walkways, open plazas, and composed views of the natural habitat.
