The Lake Terrace Convention Center serves as the Gateway to Hattiesburg giving a dynamic impression of a community grounded in its heritage directed toward a progressive future. The front elevation features four feet of rusticated stone at its base, a nod to the buildings of historical downtown Hattiesburg. The entry is noted with an arched portal that silhouettes the dome at the University of Southern Mississippi. The south side of the building faces an artificial lake fed by runoff from the convention center.
