The Salvation Army Complex is a multi-purpose facility designed to accomodate the many undertakings of the Salvation Army. It includes a shelter, gymnasium, chapel, thrift store and administration building. Sensitively bounded to the site, the complex is a cluster of buildings inflecting the local climatic, topological and solar conditions. Wood as the interior and exterior finishes compliments the surrounding trees. The refuge provides "environmental therapy" in its contemplative reflection of the organization's social investments and ideals of a greater community. It is a home, a learning ground, and a safe haven for the "transformation of human beings."
